Add a short scene, choose your role and rehearse against spoken cues. Use prompts while learning, then remove them as the lines settle.
- Add script
- Cast and check
- Rehearse
1. Add your scene
Paste text or open a short scene from a file you are using. You can correct the parsed lines before rehearsing.
Continue the scene stored on this device.
Open a script file
Use a clear image, text-based PDF or Word .docx file. Images can be up to 10 MB; PDF and Word files up to 8 MB. Files are read in your browser and are not uploaded to Stark Drama.
Word support is for .docx. For an older .doc file, save a copy as .docx or PDF first.
Formatting help
Put the speaker before each line, followed by a colon:
CHARACTER: Line of dialogue
Lines that wrap onto the next row are joined to the previous speaker automatically.
Bracketed stage directions are ignored. In Word files, italic stage directions are also left out when the formatting can be identified.
2. Check the scene and choose your role
Check the imported dialogue now. Stage directions are left out where Stark can identify them; correct anything that has been read as dialogue. Voice settings apply only to the characters played by the app.
