Lighting Lab works best when you have seen the student route first. A quick run-through makes the live lesson much easier to steer.

1. Try Learn first.Click through the lanterns, positions and effects so you know what each demonstration is designed to show.
2. Try Practise next.Attempt a few student challenges so you know what pupils will be asked to change and explain.
3. Use the purple teaching notes.In Teach mode, the Teacher prompt suggests questions, comparisons and misconceptions for each topic. You can still change anything live.
4. Switch to Presenter view with the class.Presenter view removes the lesson panel and site chrome so the stage and lighting desk become the focus. Use A/B states when you want the class to compare two choices.

The default camera now opens front-on from the audience. Side, overhead and fixture views are there when a particular teaching point needs them.
