Before you put this on the projector

This set-text lesson works best when you have tried the student scene first. A quick run-through makes the live classroom lesson much easier to steer.

  1. Try Student Explore first.Run through the street, field and wood examples, then test group pressure and the stage-configuration comparison before presenting them to the class.
  2. Try Practise next.Attempt a few student challenges so you know what pupils will be asked to change and explain.
  3. Use the purple teaching notes. In Teach mode, the Teacher prompt suggests questions, comparisons and misconceptions for each topic. You can still change anything live.
  4. Switch to Presenter view with the class.Presenter view gives the stage almost the whole screen. The Lighting Desk starts closed; open Controls only when you need to adjust a state, then hide it again. Use A/B states when you want the class to compare two choices.

The default camera now opens front-on from the audience. Side, overhead and fixture views are there when a particular teaching point needs them.
